I'm Taryn,

and this is my AI journey.

I began working with AI in 2016. As a digital storyteller for more than a decade, I had produced more than 2500 online videos---with more than 750 million views---and burned out from the content hamster wheel. So, I began searching for tools that would help scale my storytelling efforts. This brought me to AI.

In 2018, I released the world’s AI-composed and produced solo pop album, I AM AI. A year later, I directed and produced a documentary that explored the fascinating world of brain-computer interfaces, and how AI is restoring function in people with neurological disorders. Since then, I've used AI as a collaborative partner on a myriad of experiments across content, art, communication, organization, marketing, health, efficiency, and more.

Working with AI changed my life. Not only did it dramatically scale my productivity, but it ignited my creative and critical thinking capabilities in new and surprising ways.

I now help deep tech companies harness the power of AI to craft engaging stories, spark conversation, inspire creativity. From neurotech to longevity to AI, my holistic, human-centric approach integrates strategic communications, founder vision, aesthetic psychology, and investor engagement.

Currently, I am Chief Storytelling Officer at Blackrock Neurotech, overseeing special projects, marketing and communications. In addition, I have advised and/or developed content strategies for Marriott, Vessel Health, Dell, Lenovo, IBM, HTC Vive, Coursera, Invitae Genetics, Tubular, Snapchat, GoodTrust, Kernel, Science Inc, and Extend Fertility.
